I am very lucky and grateful to be a part of a great team at Digital Void who together with Hexworks, and many other vendors, made this great game come to life. Over the past couple of years, we collaborated closely with Hexworks on creating the props, environment modules, weapons, armor sets, characters, animations, VFX, levels, and more on their new amazing game Lords of the Fallen.
I worked as an Environment Artist on this project. Images that you see in this post represent the "Skyrest Bridge - Hall" location, a place where the player can upgrade their gear and shop for items at various vendors, a main hub for the players if you will.
My job was to create this part of the Skyrest Bridge from the ground up, using the blockout as a guide. I created the undamaged and broken architecture modules and placed them carefully in the world to create a sense of an ancient and lavish tomb, following the lead and art direction guides. I did both the Axiom and Umbral versions of this location. I didn't create any of the Umbral assets but used them to create interesting and scary compositions throughout the level.
This is a team sport and none of this would be possible without many great people from Hexworks and Digital Void.
